I must say I can't agree 100% with Larens.I have 25 guitars of assorted vintages and quality, among them are a MIC Casino,MIC G400 Custom and a MIC EJ160E John Lennon and I am very impressed with the level of quality in all of them.Maybe Larens has come across some bad examples as quality control is not a forte of some MIC guitars but as I said I am quite satisfied with the sound, playability and build quality of my MIC Epis.I must agree that I get turned off by this pandering to the whims of some "rock stars" and the over abundance of reliced and over priced "exact to the slightest ding or cigarette burn" guitars as they serve no purpose other than bring in exorbitant profits for the companies making them. That being said I just adore my 65 John Lennon Casino as it was made to the specs of the original but I wouldn't have gone near it if it was reliced down to the belt buckle scratches etc.
